App links for agencies and marketing teams
Agencies launch apps for clients and run their campaigns: dozens of links, several stores, print and digital, and a report at the end of the month. One account has to keep clients apart and make the reporting easy.
Keep clients apart
- A team per client. Each has its own links, members and subscription. You switch between them in one account.
- Three roles: owner, admin and member. A client’s marketer can work with links and statistics in their own team, without access to billing or to your other clients.
- Invite by email. People join with their own login, and leave without taking anything with them.
Links on the client’s own domain
A link on go.clientbrand.com looks like the brand, not like a tool. Connect a subdomain the client owns with a DNS record, and the team’s links work on it. On their own domain, the links can also open the installed app on Android as well as iPhone. Custom domains are on plans that include them, listed on the pricing page.
Campaigns that report themselves
- One link per channel and placement:
spring-tiktok,spring-metro-poster,spring-newsletter. Duplicate the first link to keep the stores the same. - Store campaign attribution on, where the plan includes it: installs per link show up in the client’s App Store Connect and Google Play Console.
- Clicks by day, platform, country and source, with QR scans counted on their own and link-preview bots left out.
- Export to CSV at the end of the month and drop it into the report.
Automate the repetitive part
The REST API creates and updates links and reads their statistics with read or write keys. Agencies use it to create a campaign’s links from a spreadsheet, to sync statistics into their own dashboards, and to give a client’s developers a key for their own pipeline. It is on plans that include it, listed on the pricing page.
Where SetLinks stops
It is not a mobile measurement partner. It does not attribute installs to ad networks, deduplicate across channels or carry a link through the install into the app. For paid user acquisition at scale, a client needs an MMP such as AppsFlyer, Adjust or Branch; SetLinks covers the links that only have to reach the right store — usually most of them.
