App Store and Google Play QR code generator

Paste your app’s store links. You get a tidy link and a print-ready QR code for each store.

How it works

Where to find your store links

App Store: open your app on apps.apple.com, or in App Store Connect under App Information, and copy the address. The part that matters is the number after “id” — the tool removes the country, the app name and tracking parameters around it.

Google Play: open your app on play.google.com and copy the address. It contains your package name after “id=”, such as com.example.app. Anything after it — language, country, referral tags — is dropped.

AppGallery: copy the address from appgallery.huawei.com. Its app ID starts with C followed by digits.

One code per store, or one code for all

The codes made here are static: each holds one store address and will open it for as long as the store page exists. That is ideal for a page or a slide that already says “Download on the App Store” and “Get it on Google Play” next to each badge.

On a poster, packaging or a table card there is usually room for one code. A static App Store code there sends every Android phone to a page it cannot use. A smart link solves this: one code, and each phone lands in its own store. It can also be pointed elsewhere after printing, and every scan is counted.

Printing a QR code that scans

Use the SVG for print: it stays sharp at any size. Keep the code at least 2 cm (0.8 in) wide for something held in the hand, and roughly a tenth of the scanning distance for posters — a code read from 2 metres should be about 20 cm wide.

Leave a clear margin around the code, keep it dark on a light background, and avoid curved or glossy surfaces where reflections break the pattern. Before a print run, scan the proof with both an iPhone and an Android camera.

Questions people ask

Is this QR code generator free?

Yes. There is no sign-up and no limit, and the codes are drawn in your browser — nothing is sent to us.

Do these QR codes expire?

No. Each code contains the store address itself, with no redirect in between, so it works as long as the app’s store page exists.

Can one QR code open both the App Store and Google Play?

Not a static code: it holds one address. A smart link — for example a SetLinks link — gives one code that sends iPhone to the App Store, Android to Google Play and Huawei to AppGallery.

Can I track how many people scan the code?

Not with a static code, because the phone goes straight to the store. A smart link counts every scan and shows them by day, platform and country.

Should I download SVG or PNG?

SVG for print and design tools, because it scales without blurring. PNG for slides, documents and chat apps.
